College of The Albemarle (COA) is pleased to announce our Annual College to Career (C2C) Signing Day on March 23, 2023, at COA – Elizabeth City, Building AE, Room 208.  The event will begin at 4:30 p.m., with the signing at 6:00 p.m.  Prospective students or prior COA students who may need to reapply to complete their certificate, degree or diploma for the 2023-2024 school year. Registration for this event is required.  Eligible students will receive a $500 scholarship upon signing.  We will offer up to $20,000 in total scholarships for this event, so don’t delay; register for the event early.  The COA Foundation also offers additional scholarships for students.

Specific programs available for this signing event include Aviation Systems Technology, Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CAD), Computer Integrated Machining, Culinary Arts, CDL/Truck Driving, Emergency Medical Sciences, General Business Administration, Health Fitness Science, Human Services Technology, HVAC Technology, Information Technology, Medical Assisting, Medical Office Administration, Nurse Aide and Welding.  These programs offer short-term training in high-wage and high-demand fields.  Several local businesses partner with COA to offer work-based learning opportunities and internships.  Many also provide scholarship opportunities for students’  career and technical fields of study related to their specific workforce.
