Description

Found in woody, moist areas, Hearts-a-bustin’ is a shrub that produces small (less than one inch) flowers in a variety of colors. The leaves are elliptical, simple in an opposite arrangement. They’re better known for the red foliage and fruit that appear in fall, with the fruit bearing a superficial resemblance to strawberries.
