ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. — College of The Albemarle (COA) announces that its Practical Nursing (P.N.) program graduates have achieved a 94% first-attempt pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX). Passing the NCLEX is required for graduates to obtain licensure as practical nurses.
Robin Harris, COA Dean of Health Sciences and Wellness Programs, said, “The success of our 2024 Practical Nursing graduates reflects the dedication of our students and the exceptional support of our faculty. Achieving a 94% first-attempt pass rate on the NCLEX exemplifies the quality of education COA provides and our commitment to preparing skilled healthcare professionals.”
