Elizabeth City, N.C. — College of The Albemarle (COA) will offer a unique opportunity for students, employees and community members to take part in a study abroad trip to Paris and London in April 2026. This travel experience will allow participants to explore world-renowned cities, experience new cultures and broaden their global perspective.
An informational session will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 6 p.m. in Room A236 at COA – Elizabeth City, and via Zoom at https://zoom.us/j/94338224403. The session is open to anyone interested in learning more about the upcoming trip.
COA’s study abroad programs offer more than sightseeing—they provide participants with immersive, educational experiences that often spark personal growth and lifelong memories. Previous destinations have included Spain, France and Italy, with each trip designed to deepen understanding and connection to the world beyond our region.
“We’re excited to invite students, employees and community members to be part of this global learning experience,” said Lisa Meads, dean of arts and sciences at COA. “Travel has the power to change the way we see the world and ourselves. These journeys go beyond the classroom and help build confidence, curiosity and cultural awareness that last a lifetime.”
Attendees at the interest meeting will hear from COA’s study abroad team, learn about trip details and requirements, and have an opportunity to ask questions. The session will also highlight stories and photos from past trips.
