Career and College Promise (CCP)

• Academic Support: All CCP students have access to any of COA’s academic services
• Advising: All CCP students have an assigned advisor/liaison
• Career Coach: Students can use Career Coach to explore COA programs and careers
• COA Alert System: Your student may add you to the COA Alert System; If added, you’ll receive all alerts for inclement weather and any other COA closures
• Accessibility Support Services: If your student has a 504 plan or IEP, they may qualify for support services at COA; Call 252-335-0821 ext. 2277 for more information
• MyCourses: Students use MyCourses to access COA courses; Every course has a gradebook within MyCourses
• MyService: All students have access to MyService; Your student can view their schedule and unofficial transcript, and create an academic plan
• Transcripts: Request COA transcripts

Things to Remember

• All classes taken must be on the student’s CCP Pathway
• Any COA schedule changes must be approved by the high school counselor or Career Development Coordinator (CDC)
• All COA classes are scheduled according to COA’s calendar, not the high school calendar
• Your student must sign a FERPA Release Form (PDF) in order for you to access your student’s information
