College of The Albemarle is excited to offer this free family-friendly event to our communities. Lisa Meads, Dean of Arts and Sciences at COA said,
“COA is excited to host COA Star nights, An Evening Under the Stars, at each campus across our seven-county service area this year. It is an excellent opportunity for our faculty and staff to grow STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics) education in our local communities.”
Please visit COA – Dare on August 19th to enjoy a range of astronomy-themed activities. This is a public event and all are welcome and encouraged to attend. If you are unable to attend on August 19th, we have three more events scheduled for 2022-2023.
