College of The Albemarle Study Abroad Opportunities – Interest Meeting October 22 for Canada and Paris/London

Elizabeth City, N.C. — College of The Albemarle (COA) is pleased to announce its upcoming study abroad trips. We will travel to Canada in April 2025 and Paris and London in April 2026. Both trips are open to students, employees and the wider community. This exciting opportunity offers participants a chance to experience new cultures, deepen their global understanding, and engage in life-changing travel adventures.

To help our students and the community learn more about the available trips, COA will host an informational session on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. via Zoom at https://zoom.us/j/97140797198. This session is open to everyone interested in learning about COA’s study-abroad destinations and how to get involved.

Participants in COA’s study abroad programs can look forward to exploring some of the world’s most vibrant cultural hubs. Past trips have included unforgettable experiences in Spain, France, and Italy, with a new slate of destinations planned for the coming year.

“We are thrilled to offer study abroad programs to our students, employees, and the broader community,” said Lisa Meads, Dean of Arts and Sciences at College of The Albemarle. “Travel is a powerful way to expand our understanding of the world. Whether you are a student or a member of our community, these experiences can be transformative, providing new insights and fostering a greater sense of global connectedness.”

Community members are encouraged to attend the upcoming information session to learn more about program details, costs, and requirements. This session will also provide an opportunity to meet with COA’s study abroad team, ask questions, and hear
about past participants’ experiences.
